Flow as to the genre fits within science fiction drama, and is set in a future society in which consciousness can shift from one person to another. The plot centers on a man who loses his memories and finds himself in the body of an unfamiliar person. As he tries to find his past, which he has lost, he gets involved in a chaotic and turbulent world ruled by a corporational zeal to control human thought and paranoia about the organizations.
Cast:
Oscar Isaac plays a man who is on a mission to find out who he is once again.
Rebecca Ferguson plays a secretive woman who assists him.
Daniel Kaluuya’s and his inhuman war machine signifies the corporate man of darkness.
Positive Aspects:
The film manages to deliver meaningful and insightful ideas about self, about past events remembered and not, and about the influence of mega companies at the corporate world.
Also actors did well, especially Oskar Isaac who did his best to play a man almost ready to surrender and allow an unstable environment to decide his fate.
There are gorgeous special effects that impress the audience with the realism of the created world which, even being futuristic, feels natural.
Negative Aspects:
The story is inconsistent and features some plots which do not add up quite well and may lead to confusion within the viewers .
This conclusion might induce cold discomfort to some of them, since a logical explanation to an array of reasonable questions has not been delivered.
