Hijack ’93 is a gripping action film that is based on factual events that occurred in 1993. With regards to the actual plot, the plot begins with a hijacking in mid-air and focuses on the people onboard who, against all odds, fight for their existence. With a rescue mission in full swing, the characters are developed one by one and engage in remarkable acts of bravery and surprising bonds along the way.

Positive Aspects:
The filmmakers effectively dramatize real incidents of airline hijackings during the period portrayed in the movie in a very engaging and dramatic style.
The way the film is edited also helps the audience in connecting to various events without being too dull or achingly slow.
Watching Ali Mahmoud portray a calm negotiator in a hostage situation was very emotional.
Negative Aspects:
Some of the sub plots seem to be getting lost in the central heading of the plot which is a hijacking incident.
The story may be somewhat conventional for the viewers due to the growing number of hijacking-based films.
