Movie Info:

Lord of Wolves is an epic fantasy film with weapons, wizardry and werewolves in the background. The main character is a young warrior, Elric (Taron Egerton), whose goal was to merge enemy tribes in the fight against the evil sorcerer Morgath (Ralph Fiennes), who aims to take over the world with an army of wolves. Elric sets out on an arduous journey with a band of warriors, who have distinct social and political backgrounds, and in the course encounter betrayal, dark rites and the old prophecies.

Positive Aspects:

Grand Worldbuilding: There is a wonderfully created and appealing admiring extensive fantasy world for the followers of high fantasy.

Epic Action Scenes: The brilliant battles are impressive, featuring majestic creatures, a contract of sorcery and fencing in a combat.

Strong Stereotyped: Most especially the actors Fiennes and Egerton rendered emotional touch to their respective characters.

Negative Aspects:

Pacing Problems: There are episodic sections of this movie, which occur very infrequently, but consistently slow down as the storyline progresses.

Familiar Fantasy Tropes: The film employs some pretty cliché fantasy elements, which may appear unoriginal to experienced fans of the genre.
