A Freaky Family tells the struggle of a funny little boy who finds out his family -after moving to a weird old mansion- are not what they appear to be. It turns out that every of his relatives has some kind of abnormal and even magical power, and that leads to a series of funny but strange and also entertaining episodes as this odd family attempts to adapt to a normal life while hiding their abilities.

Positive Aspects:
A simple but heartwarming family movie that contains good doses of magic and fairytales, artfully merged with humor.
The audience, as I was, will not be disappointed thanks to some of the best comical performances by Will Ferrell.
The movie is full of drama, adventure, and a very nice message of love and acceptance of the family and differences.
Negative Aspects:
The storyline is somewhat cliché and at times predictable, using too many clichéd elements of families and comedies.
Some gags would not go over well with older viewers and in fact I can see how they might irritate some people.
