Carey Mulligan plays Cassie, a haunted woman leading a double life. By day, she acts intoxicated at bars, only to be “rescued” by seemingly concerned men. By night, she confronts these men, exposing their hypocrisy and seeking vengeance for her best friend Nina, a rape victim who died by suicide. This dark comedy/thriller explores trauma, revenge, and the culture of victim-blaming.
