Rippy is a comedic drama about a mechanic living in a quiet country town who wishes for a more exciting life and is left tormented with one comedy of errors after another. Rippy, the protagonist, loves to dream big, and he has a heart to match but is a bit clumsy and that gets him into trouble almost all the time. The film depicts the progress of this character as he undergoes self-realization that perhaps even a less than ideal life is not that bad – the one he has at least.

Rippy keeps up with what it promises-Humor and emotions, the audience enjoys everything and leaves feeling good.
This film is made easier by the comic timing and charm of Riz Ahmed and his character Rippy is pretty likeable.
A soft indie soundtrack goes great with the film’s playful atmosphere and vivid shots of the film are just as impressive.
Negative Aspects:
Because the film is character driven and does not contain a strong story structure, the central narrative is more or less very weak and focuses more on character interactions.
Not everyone will appreciate the humor as it is quirky and awkward and many may find it hard to appreciate.
