Rumours takes its audience through the condemnation wrought in idle mind by reproaching a member of a small community. The film tracks a set of friends as their entire relationship is put on the line when a certain friend’s reputation is tainted by an ugly rumor. The story has the audience on the edge of their seats as one secret leads to another and asks the questions of how easy it is to lose trust and how hard is it to restore someone’s name after it has been ruined.

Considering the present day situation, it helps the viewer to know and understand that rumors are not to be taken lightly as one may think they are just lies but are only the beginning of unfordable consequences.
The script provides a more complicated view at human social interactions, relationships and the consequences a small missunderstanding can lead to.
Negative Aspects:
Although it can be the case in some instances, it is not often that people see pacing as something that gets in way of the product rather, people see it as something that adds onto the enjoyment of the film however, many people will at this time feel bored especially the first half where all the drama is more or less kept off the front lines.
The film sends a very strong message which is the whole point of the film however, people who have watch those type of social dramas will understand how the whole film will play out.
