Timothée Chalamet
Hugh Grant
Positive Aspects:
A psychological horror, THE ECHO consistently makes the viewers uneasy as the suspense is prolonged to an unnerving level which is ideal for horror lovers.
The performances were absolutely great, no less than Anya Taylor-Joy who is fantastic in any psychological role.
Footage is obviously done dark, sound is used really tongue-in-cheek to emphasize the terror.
Negative Aspects:
The plot and narrative in some places is too unclear and abstract, and towards the end, it has a lot more of an abstract and conceptual feel to the narrative.
Vidhar is famously known for combining slow-paced movies with visual entertainment which might make some horror buffs complain.
