Valley Girl is a lighthearted musical comedy set in the midst of the 1980s California Valley Girl scene. It follows Julie “Pink” Walker, a popular high schooler who spends her days shopping at the mall and attending parties. Her world is turned upside down when Randy Markowitz, a rebellious punk rocker, transfers to her school. Despite their contrasting backgrounds, Julie and Randy find themselves drawn to each other. Their budding romance clashes with Julie’s materialistic friends and her disapproving parents.
